An administrative assistant serves one or more departments within a company and executes a variety of administrative functions including scheduling appointments, giving information to callers, composing memos, letters, and emails, transcribing notes and researching and creating presentations. AA, Admin, secretary, Asst, Administrative Coordinator, Coordinator, Office Manager. Meeting facilitator: Initiate and coordinate meetings, maintain calendar, set up conference calls, prepare agenda and minutes as well as distributing those materials. Communication: Answering, appropriately routing and responding to telephone inquiries. Project organization: Planning, organizing and coordinating multiple simultaneous projects. Prioritize changing workloads and maintain a high level of team performance under pressure. Reporting: Generate reports, prepare and monitor invoices, process expense reports and in some cases act as Project Leader or Office Manager, undertaking complex tasks. Key traits include detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and organize, organizational awareness, ability to work independently as well as in a team, self-confidence, Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and service-focused disposition, ability to handle confidential information, comfortable interfacing with all levels of internal and external contacts, problem solving capacity, high school diploma, Associates degree or Administrative Certifications (IAAP: International Association of Administrative Professional, CAP, Certified Administrative Professional, PMP, project management certification, CPM, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe products, Quickstart, FileMakerPro, Access, MS Live Meeting Working hours: 8 - 5PM - 1+ years experience in an administrative or clerical role - experience with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel - High School degree or equivalent - $10-14/hr - M-F 8-5PM Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
