SEEKING INSTALLATION ASSISTANT AND PURCHASING CORDINATOR WITH PLANT IDENTIFICATION EXPEREINCE AND HARDSCAPE. ***Please apply if you have plant identification and hardscape experience in the landscape design/build installation field. JOB SUMMARY: The basic function of the Landscape Purchasing Coordinator is to procure, expedite, and schedule deliveries of hardscape and softscapes materials to job site. Along with initiating work orders, establishing schedules, assisting the Install Manager with active jobs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Issue purchase orders for procurement and expedition of materials for jobs - Ability to get jobs completed on schedule - Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplifications - Maintain established relationships with vendors - Establish new relationships with vendors to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of work. - Assist in maintaining company quality control program - Leverage technology, safety measures, and information sharing to increase productivity and profitability - Assist in settling invoice disputes - Forecast upcoming demand - Maintain supplier information on company online management systems - Manage plant and other materials/equipment inventory - Receive all field orders from designers - Prioritize work orders and establish schedules Work closely with designers and estimators on a regular basis - Dispatch workers to job sites - Coordinate proper sequencing and scheduling with site tam leaders, designers, and other subcontractors / crews - Assisting 3-4 crews - Assist the Installation Manager with day to day duties. - Ability to speak English & Spanish a Plus Working hours: 6:30am- 4 JOB REQUIREMENTS Preferred: 2-3 in the landscape/ install industry with experience in scheduling and purchasing hardscape and plant materials. The Contract Project Administrator will manage a wide range of facilities projects, with responsibilities that include administration of projects, supervision of vendors, project budgeting and budget reporting, as well as interaction with various support groups that are both internal and external to our client. Responsibilities may include; manages the development and execution of complex strategic and tactical facilities management real estate plans, including space planning, furniture reconfiguration and relocation activities. Proposes solutions in conjunction with needs of other clients and the corporation. Gathers requirements and provides data to develop detailed space plans. Provides appropriate data, recommendations, and analysis to support business areas in their decision-making. Shares information specific to assigned business units with facilities planning team. Considers unit level and corporate adjacencies as well as corporate space guidelines and standards (generator back up, telephone capabilities, contingency, other infrastructure issues). Directly manages the activities (including scope of work, budgets, contracts and invoices) of outside consultants, engineers, architects and any related personnel needed to complete the project. Prepares project budgets, Capital Expenditure Authorization (CEAs), Request for Proposals (RFPs) and any contracts for projects related to consultants, contractors, and vendors. Tracks construction projects CEAs upon completion of project. Ensures projects are completed within schedule, within budget constraints, and in accordance with relevant contracts. Maintains project files in adherence with standard project files and audit. Maintains thorough knowledge of the real estate industry and the associated regulatory landscape. Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am - 4:30pm 37.5 hour work week Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required. Graduate degree preferred. Minimum three years industry experience. Demonstrated executive presence and poise. Superior communication skills (oral and written) as well as excellent negotiating, networking and interpersonal skills. Excellent project management skills and analytical / problem solving skills with a demonstrated track record on multifaceted, high value corporate level projects. Must have knowledge of, and be proficient with AutoCAD 2013 and FM:Systems or similar CAFM software. Solid knowledge of the real estate industry and associated regulations.
