SEEKING INSTALLATION ASSISTANT MANAGER WITH PLANT IDENTIFICATION EXPEREINCE AND HARDSCAPE. ***Please apply if you have plant identification and hardscape experience in the landscape design/build installation field. JOB SUMMARY: The basic function of the Landscape Purchasing Coordinator is to procure, expedite, and schedule deliveries of hardscape and softscapes materials to job site. Along with initiating work orders, establishing schedules, assisting the Install Manager with active jobs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Issue purchase orders for procurement and expedition of materials for jobs - Ability to get jobs completed on schedule - Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplifications - Maintain established relationships with vendors - Establish new relationships with vendors to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of work. - Assist in maintaining company quality control program - Leverage technology, safety measures, and information sharing to increase productivity and profitability - Assist in settling invoice disputes - Forecast upcoming demand - Maintain supplier information on company online management systems - Manage plant and other materials/equipment inventory - Receive all field orders from designers - Prioritize work orders and establish schedules Work closely with designers and estimators on a regular basis - Dispatch workers to job sites - Coordinate proper sequencing and scheduling with site tam leaders, designers, and other subcontractors / crews - Assisting 3-4 crews - Assist the Installation Manager with day to day duties. - Ability to speak English & Spanish a Plus Working hours: 6:30am- 4 JOB REQUIREMENTS Preferred: 2-3 in the landscape/ install industry with experience in scheduling and purchasing hardscape and plant materials. Applicants must have the following skills and knowledge: --Ability to read and understand design/build plans --Knowledgeable of plant identification and hardscape materials --Ability to accurately describe and assess the status of an install project and be ready to provide possible solutions when necessary --Hard / efficient work ethic --Excellent communication skills --Excellent problem solving skills and experience with complex transactions with little supervision --Excellent computer skill and willingness to learn company created software --Clean DMV record --CDL (Class A or B) is a plus Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
