Our client in Leesburg, Virginia is looking for a candidate that can sit at their site and their client site in Washington, D.C. to assist with project scheduling for a long-term contract. The contract is slated to be a two-year commitment and possibly extend into 3 years. The position is a temp-to-hire but will not go permanent until after working 6 months to a year depending on experience. Salary for candidates with 3-5 years' experience are $65-75K and candidates with 5 or more years' experience is $95K. Candidate must have transportation to both locations and be able to work a flexible work schedule. Job Description: Creating and updating schedules. Randstad is hiring a Manufacturing Test Engineer for a company located in Morris County that designs and manufactures motion and flow control systems and components for the Defense, Government Services, Space, and Commercial Aerospace markets. This individual must support the objectives of the company relative to manufacturing and operational goals. In this role you will develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes and continually ensure that equipment capacity will meet customer demand. You will also implement process improvements based on demonstrated improved yield results and participate in defect reduction activities and lean initiatives. Responsibilities: Design, assembly and validation of new systems and processes for new products or existing products Working knowledge of Labview software and related test equipment Develop and maintain testing policies, procedure and performance metrics Achieve targeted manufacturing objectives Develop and train personnel to support operational goals and objectives Capable of investigating, assessing and resolving production problems Effectively communicate with suppliers to procure necessary equipment Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization, recommend and implement improvements/changes. Determine parts and tools required according to product specification Responsible for understanding capabilities of manufacturing tools and equipment Working hours: First shift 6:00am - 2:30pm plus Overtime Requirements: 8-10 years of related experience in a production/operations environment (Aerospace preferred) 8-10 years experience in design and manufacturing of pumps, valves, piping and related fluid & auxiliary equipment Bachelor's degree in Mfg.
